JORDAN B. PETERSON EVENT on 4 Nov

On the 4th of November, next Monday, Radboud Reflects is organizing a screening of Shut Him Down: The Rise of Jordan Peterson (i.e., the film that came out last year, not the extended version released recently). I’ve already seen this one but I’ll be going there with some friends who haven’t. After the film, there will be a discussion between a feminist professor of gender studies and a clinical psychologist. It’s framed as a debate, so you can probably guess what it’s gonna be like (especially considering that the event page claims that “the alt-right” heralds Peterson “as a hero”, which is of course nonsense). It’ll certainly be controversial! I plan to do a livestream before and after the screening on my Twitter and/or YouTube, so STAY TUNED!

By the way, I have been in touch with Holding Space Films, the producer of both Peterson documentaries, to see if I can get a screening of the new film arranged, but without any luck so far. Will keep you updated.
