TOMORROW: My presentation, “The Meme-ing of Meaning”, at the Moving Humanities conference

Tomorrow (24 October), I will be presenting at the Moving Humanities conference, hosted by the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies at Radboud University. The theme of the conference is “Finding Meaning”, and the title of my presentation is The Meme-ing of Meaning. As the title implies, it’s about meaning, memes, and the relationship between the two.

I recorded a draft version, which you can see here, and I hope some people will comment on it so that I can use your comments to improve the presentation. Unfortunately it was not possible to do this sooner, due to a string of bad luck and the fact that I don’t have a place of my own to record video. My friend Nico from Polymath University was kind enough to lend me his equipment so we could do this, but it ended up becoming a bit of a rush job. Anyways, better late than never, I say. Please watch it and any remarks will be much appreciated.

BONUS slides, with CHIMPANZEMES, are available at: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1s5vAtpx775WJf6ffF9RsrqyngtoDoCrx?usp=sharing

By the way, my actual presentation at the conference tomorrow will also be recorded, and hopefully made available on YouTube soon after. I hope I will manage to improve it some!
