UPDATE: Twitch channel, new website design, and more

I am now a Twitch streamer. Check out my channel here. I will be streaming mostly myself playing games while commenting on them. Right now I’m playing good old rFactor. I also plan to play Cities: Skylines, perhaps a mod of F1 Challenge that I really like, and who knows what else.
In addition to games, I would also like to stream myself working on music and maybe discussing interesting topics, like I do on YouTube. But it would have to be sufficiently different from YouTube to stand out as its own thing. By the way, you should also check out Nico’s Twitch. His channel is called PolyBruh and he is EXTREMELY PRO at Fortnite.
Music is something Twitch is not particularly good for, since it’s really strict when it comes to copyright. Not only are you not allowed to play copyrighted songs, you’re not even allowed to stream yourself singing a cover of one, or doing a lip-sync. Shitsux, but I have another plan when it comes to that. It’s kinda related to the stuff I used to do when I was in high school and I ran an online radio station together with some friends. Speaking of which, keep an eye on this site for more information about that particular adventure...
You may have noticed something else that’s new, too. I gave the look of this site an overhaul. I haven’t quite gotten the hang of this new WordPress theme yet, as evidenced by the fact that there are two sets of social media icons and one is all out of place. But I think it’s cleaner than the old one, and at least it now automatically displays the three most recent posts on the home page, instead of me having to manually adjust that section every time I make a new post. Besides, I’m starting a software development traineeship tomorrow, where they’ll no doubt teach me a little about web development as well. So then I’ll hopefully be able to write my own CSS.
Apart from that, I have some other cool stuff in the works, including: a new business venture I plan to launch soon; a cool virtual event; and a whole new element to add to this site. I’m being vague on purpose because I don't want to give too much away yet, but you'll see...
Until next time, take care,
J.A.
P.S. It’s pretty difficult to get your site to display a social media icon for Locals, since most WordPress themes don't recognize Locals as a thing. Gg, WordPress themes. The icon you see here in the sidebar is an SVG I had to create myself, which was harder than you might think.
