Did you know that I can explain the entire universe in a minute? Well, it's actually a minute and 18 seconds. But still, that's pretty cool, don't you think?

As a science popularizer, I often wonder about the terminology we use in science (and about why physicists get to do all the cool science popularization stuff and linguists don’t). Sometimes I feel the words used in science make it harder for the general public to understand what scientists are talking about.
