They BROKE my WATCH… I mean, I BROKE my WRIST

Last week, I fell off my bike and broke my wrist. I didn’t realize it was broken until yesterday when I took it to the GP’s, and they sent me to the hospital and now I’m gonna be in a plaster cast for the next five weeks.

I can’t really do anything with this hand right now—well, I can type with one or two fingers, but the plaster caster(?) at the hospital told me not to do anything that’s not strictly necessary. As it happens, I’m on vacation right now (and thank God for that), so very little I do these days is strictly necessary. So I’m practically typing, and doing most other things, with one hand (fortunately, I’m right-handed).

Of course, this means everything is going to go even slower than it already was for the time being. You’ll just have to eat it up, I’m afraid. I have a couple nice things in the works, but I’m now following a new philosophy called “calm development”, where I don’t announce anything. So, no announcemennts. If there’s news, you’ll read it on here (or, for my Dutch-speaking audience, you’ll hear it on De Krodkast, my podcast that recently began its new season.
